WebGIS Services
Web-based Geographic Information Systems (webGIS) is a hybrid of GIS and Internet technologies, which allows for the collection and storage of heterogeneous datasets – indexed by location – and makes them widely available in a visual, dynamic, and interactive format using any web browser. As a result, webGIS has the potential to increase public knowledge and participation in environmental management. Similarly, sites can be password-protected to allow research teams to share geospatial and tabular datasets via a webGIS interface.
The GIIF offers development, maintenance, and support for webGIS sites for your project. We offer three levels of service, designed to target your desired level of detail and customization:

Simple, Made to Order by GIIF At this level, the GIIF sets-up and maintains the webGIS site, but the site is a simple site, with minimal custom tools or design, and GIS-ready data that requires little preparatory work. Features: Prices: $1,500-2,000 * Includes: |
Feature-rich, highly customizable At this level, the GIIF sets-up and maintains the webGIS site, which is customized to the client's needs. Custom tools and web design, as well as heavy GIS data manipulation and website design fall under this level. Features: Prices: $5,000-7,500 * Includes: |
